2010 Cultivating Compassion Conference
Vision
While many mission related conferences offer valuable information on the mechanics of mission and implementing mission programs, Cultivating Compassion offers a complementary focus on the spiritual foundation necessary to be effective at our mission calling.
Conference Objective
To energize, revitalize and mobilize congregations by equipping leaders spiritually with biblical truths and relevant, personal application so that each of us can better fulfill our divine calling to be the ‘Hands and Feet’ of Christ. Times of teaching, small group interaction, worship and fellowship will strengthen and encourage. Whether your ministry is in “Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria or the ends of the earth,” a deeper understanding of your calling increases your effectiveness and brings greater joy in serving. Cultivating Compassion – Preparing Hearts for Mission is a road map for the spiritual journey of reaching out with the love of Christ to the least, lost and lonely, in our midst.
Who Should Attend
"...this conference was just what I needed. The chance to renew, refresh and remember WHY we are called to be in mission to the world was a blessing. The chance to reflect on the scriptures and what God desires in our relationships to our brothers and sisters was transformational." Click here for more testimonials.
